: No shedding or matting with proper care, sealing the wefts will reduce shedding significantly.
: Virgin hair could last 1 year or longer, Luxury hair 2 - 3 years or longer, Raw hair 4 years or longer all with proper hair care.
SIDENOTE: I have personally worn and reused my virgin hair bundles over and over for more than 2 years.
: For a full sew-in 18"- 22" requires 3 - 4 bundles, 24" - 30" requires 4 - 6, while 10" - 16" may only require 2 bundles.

A Guide To Virgin Hair & Wig Care
One key aspect of caring for your weft extensions is the installation method. To ensure that your hair extensions do not shed after installation, we strongly recommend that you instruct your stylist to observe and follow these key points:
Sew in the wefts by looping and tying the weave thread under and over the weft in a blanket stitch method. Do not put the needle through or pierce the wefts, and avoid cutting the wefts.
De-tangle Your Hair
This is a very important step prior to shampooing your hair extensions and wigs. Always comb or brush your hair from the bottom up. Remember the more careful you treat your hair the longer they will last.
Shampoo/Condition
Shampoo your hair at least once every two weeks using a moisturizing shampoo. Wash your hair in a downward motion, working shampoo from the top down in one motion, condition n the same manner and let air dry if possible.
Styling
always keep your hair tangle free. Brush or comb gently from the bottom up, small sections at a time. Heat is your hairs biggest enemy the more you use it on your hair the shorter the life span of your hair.
At Night
Put your hair up at night. Braid or pin curl your hair before going to sleep. This is important in preventing tangles. Never sleep with loose or wet hair. Sleeping in a silk or satin bonnet or scarf will help keep your hair manageable.
Storing Your Hair & Wigs
Always shampoo, condition & dry your hair extensions and wigs before storing it away. Use a satin or silk bag to keep the luster and shine to your hair. Store your wigs in a box to keep the shape and style, you can also use a wig stand or mannequin head.
